Kellie Schenck Award Recipients!

At Flamingo 2017, local philanthropist, businessman and generous AEF supporter Dick Butera inaugurated the Kellie Schenck Awards, which honor  the beloved Aspen Middle School teacher Kellie Schenck who passed away in 2015. These  awards celebrate teachers and staff who share the same passion and commitment to the school community for which Schenck will long be remembered. 

 

Each recipient received a $10,000 cash award.
They are as follows:

Eric Lamb, world language teacher, Aspen High School

Josh Anderson, math teacher, Aspen High School

Arial Bejarano, Aspen School District bus driver and Aspen Elementary School custodian

Morgan Duggan, school psychologist, Aspen Middle School and Aspen High School

Megan Noonan, math teacher, Aspen High School

Becky Oliver, second grade teacher, Aspen Elementary School

Jackie Tergeoglou, kindergarten teacher, Aspen Elementary School

Jeff White, fourth grade teacher, Aspen Elementary School

 

The following staff shared $10,000. cash awards:

Bryant Maggert and Sarah Graber,
English language teachers, Aspen Middle School

Karen Price, administrative assistant, finance and Karin Wehse, administrative assistant, enrollment, at Aspen Middle School
